Motel Stop
Motion Set
This stop-motion set was inspired by abandoned motels off American highways. I continue to add more details to it as I develop the story of the motel. While the vast majority of this set is made of wood, other materials, such as thermoplastic and acetate, are also used.
The central part of the motel is roughly 40 inches wide, 15 inches deep, and 12 inches tall, and it is suitable to be animated with a 7-inch tall puppet.

Handy Man Puppet
This puppet is inspired by the French Circus and the Freakshows of 20th-century America. It was made with materials such as wire, silicone, fabric, and epoxy. The puppet was made by hand, and all limbs and extremities are posable. ( Currently on Display at Academy of Art Spring Show 2024)

Metal Armature
This armature was made with Brass, ball bearings, steel rod, and repurposed keys. This armature has an extra long neck to accomodate a unique creature design. It is made with tools and techniques such as: a metal lathe, a mill, and silver solder. It features ball and socket joints for movement across all limbs, spine and neck joints.
